Agreement Signed between D.Net & MSUP 
 
Development Research Network (D.Net) and Microsoft Bangladesh Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly implement Community for Learning Information, Communication and Knowledge (CLICK) a project that aims to ensure access to livelihood information and IT skill enhancement for underprivileged poor .

The MoU signing ceremony was held at D.Net office on March 28, 2007 along with a press conference. Mr. Firoz Mahmud, Country Manager, Microsoft Bangladesh Limited and Dr. Ananya Raihan, Executive Director of D.Net had signed the MoU on behalf of two organizations.

Under this project D.Net is going to establish 13 Community-based Pallitathya Kendra (PK) in rural Bangladesh for imparting IT skills training to underserved individuals and empowering them to attain economic independence.
 
Among others Mr. Mahmud Hasan, Programme Director, D.Net; Mr. Ajoy kumar Bose, Director Operations, D.Net; Mr. Forhad Uddin, Senior Research Associate, D.Net;  Mr. Farid Ahmed, Education Programme Manager, Microsoft Bangladesh; Journalists from Different News papers and D.Net Staffs were present at the ceremony .
