An infomediary training to operate Pallitathya Kendra was held from January 24-February 05, 2009 at D.Net under the project Abolombon II. Fourteen infomediaries from different PKs (Netrokona, Moulavibazar, Sunamganj, Tangail, Gopalgonj) participated in the training programme. Infomediaries enriched their knowledge and the concept on Pallitathya Kendra operation; computer application software and internet, livelihood information delivery system using ICTs; promoting PKs to the community people; documentation process using Telecentre Management Software (TMS); how to make the PKs functional; this greatly helped them to enhance their professional skills and upgrade their proficiency. Accounts officer from different PK operating organisations also participated in the last 2 days of the programme. The participants gathered immense knowledge on PK financial management, office management, file management and financial reporting system which helped them to increase their expertise in their related fields.
