An infomediary training to operate Pallitathya Kendra was held from November 16-27, 2008 at D.Net under the project Abolombon II. Twelve fresh infomediaries from different PKs (Barisal, Jhalokathi, Pirojpur, Satkhira, Chittagong, Jhenaidah) participated in the programme. These infomediaries enriched their knowledge and the concept on Pallitathya Kendra operation; how to use computer application software and internet, how to deliver livelihood information using ICTs; how to promote PKs to the community people; how to document the process using Telecentre Management Software (TMS); what is the role of an infomediary; how to make the PKs functional; this greatly helped them to enhance their professional skills and upgrade their proficiency. The training session was facilitated by the training team of D.Net.
 
Operations division of D.Net also conducted a session on financial management and reporting. Accounts officer from different PK operating organisations participated in this session. The participants gathered immense knowledge on PK financial management, office management, file management and financial reporting system which helped them to increase their expertise in their related fields.
