An infomediary training was held from December 21-23, 2008 at D.Net. It was an especial training for mobile infomediaries who generally moves from door to door with a mobile phone under Abolombon II project. From now they will move from door to door with a bunch of services using ‘EEE-PCs’. With this EEE-PC to the mobile infomediary, the total PK’s information services will become mobile and it would serve people at their door steps. It will play a significant role to increase the income for financial sustainability of PKs, has been expected. Seven mobile infomediaries from different PKs (Gaibandha, Noakhali, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Jessore) participated in the training programme, which helped to enhance their expertise on information and ancillary service delivery using EEE PCs and other tools.

After the training programme D.Net provided EEE PCs (1000H) with necessary equipments including EDGE Modem, USB DVD RW, Headphone, Portable Loud speaker to seven PKs. Regarding this, D.Net signed MoU with following seven organisations under Abolombon II project.
