D.Net published a handbook titled “Information and Knowledge System for the Citizens: Part I: Telecentre Operation Hand Book”. It was lunched at the National Telecentre Colloquium 2008 held on November 07-08. The handbook has been written in Bangla, which is particularly suitable for telecentre entrepreneurs and infomediaries. The book is very much effective to understand easily about the telecentre, activities, services, information delivery channels, operation process of a telecentre, promotion and mobilisation strategy, service documentation and evaluation procedure. Necessary pictures have been added in the manual to make the telecentre operation process visible. This book has been prepared based on the 5 years experience of Pallitathya programme.
